Hello and welcome to the studio! If you or someone you know is looking for a voice teacher, you've come to the right place. Whether you are a kid, high school/college student, or an adult, it would be my pleasure to help you expand your vocal potential, try out new techniques, and safely explore the voice.

My Background

Since I was little, I have spent my life singing. Focusing on classical technique from a very young age, my artistic career was aimed towards opera until my senior year in high school when I switched over to musical theatre. That being said, I have spent two summers working at the renowned Glimmerglass Opera, an un-amplified space where all the singer has is their voice to make themselves heard to the back of the 1,000 seat house. In addition I have spent two years working for Disney Cruise Line and other regional theaters where I had to learn to manipulate a mic. All this being said, I hope I can bring my experience in both techniques to you.

 

 

Our Focus

In my studio, a fun, safe space is of utmost priority. Singing is meant to be a joyous experience and your lesson with me will be just that. Together, we will build up your technique, stretch your vocal range, and work on those pieces you've always wanted to try out all while feeling free to push the limit. Whether you're a baritone looking to find their power or a mezzo longing to stretch their range, I'm sure we can make it happen.

Classes will be broken into 30 min/45 min/60 min in which we will practice support, warm up to piano (that I will play), and work on music either of your choice or pieces I will assign in later lessons. Over Zoom, any music you sing will have to be performed by a karaoke/piano track. If you have trouble finding music, I will happily connect you with an accompanist to get your song recorded/transcribed. We will laugh, we will crack, we will overcome obstacles, but most importantly, we will get to spend time doing what we love: singing!
